Vintage Lake District photos

By Nella and licensed through Shutterstock. These really make me miss writing about Grace and Peter!

Aren't these lovely?

    1. That fifth book will be interesting -- you know, I wrote a lot of High Rhymes while I was still in college, and that is a long time ago. :-) It's the only series I have that has quite that huge a time span from start to finish. It's almost like asking a different person to complete the series. I think that's part of the hold up.

  2. Beautiful pics. All the lush greenery is a sad reminder of our drought. Now I need to go watch another Midsomer Murders. :-)

And if you're going to percolate story ideas along with the French roast, then I'd love to see Mary take on a new case. :-D Catalina Island would make a great setting. Here’s a link to some movies that were filmed there in the 1930’s. “Murder on a Honeymoon” looks interesting.

    1. Yes, I definitely plan to set a couple of stories on Catalina! In fact, I have two starts to two different projects. But I hadn't thought of Mary Kelly for that one. Hm.

    2. Catalina is tailor made for a story/series set in the 1930's. All that Hollywood history has tons of potential. And the research. OMG, my idea of heaven! Do you need a research assistant? lol
